Where is the Personal HotSpot on my iOS 6?
Mine is missing!
If you already subscribe to the Mobile Hotspot plan with your carrier, and find the Personal Hotspot option is missing on your iOS6 iPhone, you can follow the steps to enable the option.
Background:
Personal Hotspot lets you connect your computers and devices to the Internet using the cellular data connection on your device. To use this feature, enable Personal Hotspot on your cellular data plan. Make sure contact your carrier for information and pricing.
On iOS5 devices, the setting can be found under Network. However, it is not the case in iOS6 iPhones.
Steps:
You can use the Personal Hotspot by tapping
Settings > Personal Hotspot
or
Settings > General > Cellular Data > Personal Hotspot.

| 3. Select Cellular… | ![]() |
| 4. Select Setup Personal Hotspot. It may take couple second if this is first time to load. | ![]() |
| 5. Click Wi-Fi Password if you want to change to different password | ![]() |
| 6. Now the Personal Hotspot can be toggle in the Setting menu. | ![]() |






I could not find cellular in general to turn it on, can u help me resolve this problem?

the point is the hotspot is not visible/there after upgrading to ios 6.1. how does one re-enable or put it back on the phone
